Join us for our 3rd collage workshop. Bring some paper and pictures or use some of what we have on hand. Share your ideas and techniques and learn from others. It’s a relaxed fun creative afternoon. Free but donations welcome!

第1回目のコラージュワークショップはとても楽しいものでした。今月も開催します。前回参加できなかった方、今回はいかがでしょうか？一緒に作業するだけで、情報やテクニックを共有でき、気取らない雰囲気と方法がとても効果的でした。お時間あればぜひ！

数分でも、ずっといても大丈夫です。基本的な材料のご用意はありますが、使用する予定の材料（紙、雑誌、本、はさみ、テープ、のりなど）はご持参ください。

Our first collage workshop was a lot of fun. This month features our second and we hope if you couldn't make the last one you can this time. We discovered informal works really well and that just working together enables us to share information and techniques. Swing on by if you can!

Join us for an afternoon of collage making. Stop in for a few minutes or stay for the whole time as we create collage, discuss techniques and share information! We prefer if you can bring your own materials (paper, magazines, books, scissors, tape, glue, etc) but we will have basic materials on hand for those who need it.

スカーレット・ヨハンソン主演、ジョナサン・グレイザー監督による2013年のSFドラマ「アンダー・ザ・スキン」を一緒に鑑賞しましょう。スコットランドを舞台に、夢のような映像が満載のこの作品は、文字通り見知らぬ土地で見知らぬ人になることが何を意味するのかを探っています。魅惑的なほど静かなこの映画は、ストーリーというより雰囲気で見せる作品です。

映画終了後、45分間ほど映画についておしゃべりタイムを設けます、ぜひ語り合いましょう。

Join us to watch the 2013 sci-fi drama “Under the Skin” starring Scarlett Johanssen and directed by Jonathan Glazer. Set in Scotland and full of dreamy imagery, this film explores what it means to be a stranger in strange land, quite literally. Seductively quiet the film is more of a vibe than story.

We will have an open discussion when the film ends for 45 minutes.

We don’t have any exhibitions scheduled for this month but have decided to conduct a collage workshop. 

Collage is as simple or complicated as you want it to be and a lot of fun to do. No real special materials are needed and there is no right or wrong way to do it.

窪田久美子さんのビニールの作品からインスピレーションを得て動きをその場で作り上げていく土居大記さんのパフォーマンス。頭上を雲が流れるように、儚く形を変えていきます。15分ほどの上演になります。

入場は無料です、パフォーマンスが短いので早めに会場へ到着されることをお勧めします。よかったら鑑賞後にゆっくりと歓談していってください

Watch as performance artist Hiroki Doi uses the plastic designs made by Kumiko Kubota to inspire and improvise movement. Like a cloud passing by overhead, this performance will be shapeshifting and short, lasting about 15 minutes. 

This event is free but please be on time or arrive a few minutes early due to the brevity of the performance. We welcome attendees to stay to chat and relax afterwards.

北欧の伝統的なモビール「ヒンメリ」に、ドライフラワーをアレンジした作品が作れます。

岩村さんは毎日プロジェクトを仕上げるためにがんばっています。ねぎらうためにシンプルなパーティーを計画しました！いつものレセプションと違い、参加費なしの持ち寄りパーティーですので、お好きな飲み物食べ物をお持ちください。作品を眺めながらゆっくりおしゃべりしましょう！

Iwamura-san has been working hard at the gallery on his project. We felt he needed a little fun so we're having a party! Unlike our receptions, this is just a party. That means no fees or anything. Bring your own alcohol, drinks, and snacks. Hang out and talk, look at the work and just chill.
